Altitude
Altitude is EEPL’s Windows-based Base Computer System for its smart meter family (Single Phase, Three Phase, and High-Accuracy CT), providing secure, offline access for data reads, configuration, diagnostics, and firmware updates. It extracts full MRU datasets—billing, load profiles, tamper/event history, and comm status—while enabling commissioning tasks like billing cycle setup, time sync, and GPRS/RF/NB-IoT mode selection. Field-ready utilities include automatic UTC time-stamping, GPS geo-tagging, photo annotations, and job-ID–linked work-order sync. Data exports in XML/CSV flow seamlessly to AstrenEpp/MidasSynapse and technician workflows via ApexField, with audit-ready logs supporting regulatory and SLA needs. Role-based access, encrypted local storage, and complete interaction trails ensure enterprise-grade security. In short, Altitude is the direct, reliable interface between engineers/technicians and EEPL meters—ideal for pre-commissioning, diagnostics, and offline recovery.

Altitude is EEPL’s proprietary Base Computer System (BCS) designed to interface directly with its EEPL smart meter range—covering Single Phase, Three Phase, and High Accuracy CT Meters. It enables secure, offline access to meter data, configuration, diagnostics, and firmware management, making it an essential tool for lab engineers, field technicians, and onboarding teams.
